  • Paxmead Riverside Base is a residential centre available to members of Girlguiding, The Scout Association and other youth organisations. The site sits on the glorious River Thames in Shepperton, Middlesex and is within easy reach of both Windsor and London.

Our well equipped residential house sleeps up to 30 people with a bunk room of 24 and two leaders rooms of accommodating 3 people. We have full disabled access and disabled washing facilities.

If you have a bigger group wishing to stay, Paxmead’s grounds can accommodate up to 60 additional campers.

If your group is into watersports, we have our own private jetty which gives direct access to the River Thames. This is ideal for groups to explore the local area by kayak, canoe or paddleboard. We also have a range of paddlesport equipment for hire.
