Situated in the heart of Bristol, Carter Residential Centre is just a short walk from the Bristol Downs, close to Clifton Suspension Bridge, Ashton Court Estate and Leigh Woods. Set in nine acres of stunning wooded grounds on the site of Trinity College, we provide a peaceful location for groups looking for self-catering residential accommodation. Whether you are looking to explore Bristol, or further afield, this is the perfect location to use as your base. We have two lounge and kitchen areas, allowing you to be fully self sufficient. We can also provide a “staff only section”, away from the communal areas for meeting etc. The residential centre can be sectioned off into smaller unit, with their own digital access, making it suitable for more than one small group to be in residence at any one time.

Location
North Norfolk Camping & Glamping is located in a rural area, but it is still close to the beach, the countryside, and the nearby towns. Relax in the tranquility, peace, and quiet of nature and explore the unique landscape of North Norfolk by camping near the lake, the woods, and the meadows. Wildlife abounds in both the trees and the seas; owls and deer are common land animals, and grey seals visit Weybourne and Blakeney Point every year. Our neighbourhood is near the beautiful Norfolk coast and the historic district of the Georgian town of Holt. North Norfolk Camping & Glamping is a great vacation spot because of its proximity to the coast and its abundance of locally owned businesses. Several wonderful seaside towns, including Sheringham, Hunstanton, Wells-next-the-Sea, and Cromer, are located in close proximity to this area.
Visit and enjoy all the wonderful sites and activities that make North Norfolk the special and breathtaking place it is. Some examples of things to do are go on nature hikes, play in sand dunes, observe seals, and look for samphire. Holkham Hall, Baconsthorpe Castle, the Norfolk Coast Path, and the town of Burnham Market are just a few of the exciting and fascinating places you can visit in the area.

Our campground, Holt Hollow, is surrounded by forested hills, picturesque lakes, and wildlife-rich fields. Tents of all shapes and sizes are welcome, whether you’re a group of hikers or a family. In addition to standard tents, we welcome campervans and even provide more opulent accommodations like bell tents and shepherd’s huts. Bell Tents – If you’re a city dweller looking for a relaxing and social outdoor getaway, our North Norfolk location is ideal. If you live in the city and want to go camping but don’t want to deal with the hassle of setting up your own campsite, these are for you. Come and experience the joys of glamping on the North Norfolk Coast. Each tent has been furnished in a bohemian style and equipped with all the necessities to make your camping trip with the family more pleasant.
Glamping Shepherds Huts – Our Glamping Shepherds Huts come with everything you will need for a back-to-the-wild stay including but not limited to a big comfy bed, a small kitchenette with gas stove, your own ensuite shower room and a warming woodburning stove for chilly evenings. Our Glamping Shepherds Huts are of course dog friendly!”
Blank Canvas Bell Tents – Our blank canvas bell tents are perfect for campers who would rather not set up their tents. They are less expensive than the fully furnished bell tents and come equipped with mosquito nets, lanterns, and waterproof floors. Bringing along furniture for your tent, cooking equipment, and other necessities can make camping feel more like a home away from home.
Facilities
We have fire pits, firewood, and campfires, as well as flushing toilets and drinking fountains. There are also showers available for you to clean yourself after a long day of activities!

Camping and glamping in North Norfolk are open to you and your entire party, including your dog. We welcome all types of campers, whether you’re a family with a big tent, a group of friends with dome tents, or a couple in a campervan.
Farningham Woods Scout Campsite
The Farningham Woods Scout Campsite is a “back to basics” campsite in 10 acres of coppiced woodland, bordering the Farningham Woods Nature Reserve.
There are camping areas of various sizes in individual clearings around the wood, which can all be used for activities, camping or campfires.
There is a simple, cold water toilet block with hand basins, and some modern, unisex WC Container Cabins.
The campsite can be booked for activity days or evenings, in addition to camping, and is also available to non youth-based groups.
Hunstanton Camping & Glamping with mYminiBreak
Hunstanton Camping and Glamping with mYminiBreak is a camping accommodation just 2 minutes from the mile-long, dog-friendly Heacham South Beach. The rustic charm of this former dairy farm has been preserved as we transformed it into a camping site. And, with a seaside adventure right at your doorstep, there are plenty of reasons to stay at our campsite! We are right on the Norfolk Coast Path which is ideal for large groups wanting to go hiking, learn orienteering skills and build team spirit,

Our remote campground has ample space to pitch motorhomes, campervans, and tents of all sizes. Everyone, from solo tent campers to large groups in multiple tents, will find ample space at our campground. You can enjoy a stress-free beach holiday with the help of our facilities, which include showers (for both humans and dogs), toilets, sinks, running water, trash cans, a waste management system, and free WiFi. Here on the Norfolk Coast, we provide recycling bins so that trash can be properly separated, and we use only eco-friendly products ourselves.
From our campground, you can get to the many trails that go through the beautiful countryside of Norfolk. We’re a great stop-off point for the Norfolk Coast Path and Peddars Way, regardless of if you’re starting, finishing, or stopping here between the two trails. There are plenty of other great walks in the Norfolk countryside and surrounding area, whether you explore the RSPB reserve at Snettisham, the striped cliffs of Old Hunstanton, or the undulating dunes of Holme-next-the-Sea.
Wonderful sunsets and stargazing vistas make this property perfect for a group camping adventure. Our pitches all allow for campfires, so you can light a fire whenever the mood strikes. Gathering around a fire with friends and loved ones to tell stories, toast marshmallows, and catch up is a great way to enjoy some quiet time.
Hunstanton Glamping
Consider staying in one of our Glamping Shepherd Tents or Glamping Bell Tents if you want to sleep outside your caravan for a few nights or want to reconnect with the outdoors while still having some of the comforts of home. The Hunstanton glamping site is a lot like our regular campsite in that it allows people to bring their dogs. Our bell tents are bohemian and rustic, with a campfire pit, and our shepherd’s huts have plush beds, bistro tables for breakfast, and other charming features that let you get back to nature without giving up any of your home comforts. Our glamping site is perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway thanks to its proximity to the marsh, its outdoor fire pit and barbecue, and the fact that it is only a two-minute walk from a west-facing beach (from which you can watch the sunset over the sea).
There are plenty of lovely establishments and pubs along the Norfolk coastline that are dog friendly, complete with doggy treats and water bowls. Our beaches are dog-friendly almost all year round, with only a handful being seasonal. There are, however, some restrictions that are put in place between Easter and Halloween.
Hunstanton’s proximity to the water, cultural events, local attractions, and excellent locally-owned shops and restaurants make it a popular camping and caravan holiday destination. West Norfolk is home to many wonderful places for families to spend time together, including Kings Lynn, Burnham Market, and Wild Ken Hill, not to mention the surrounding places like Sandringham Estate and Holkham Hall.
Our Hunstanton site has both cheap camping (£15 per night) and luxurious glamping (£95 per night).

Low Wood Scout Activity Centre
The Low Wood Scout Activity Centre is located in the Aire Valley and is a prime location set in over 81 acres of both woodland and wide open spaces. It is situated next to the Leeds to Liverpool canal. The site has a large number of camping areas (of various sizes), ideal for long or short stays and overnight stopping points for those undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. We offer a large range of on-site activities, there is something for everyone.
The main building has toilet and shower facilities and a fully fitted kitchen area. Sleeping is available in the main hall.
The centre is well placed as a base for excursions. Nearby is East Riddlesden Hall (National Trust), Haworth and the Bronte Parsonage, the Worth Valley Railway, Skipton Castle, Ilkley Moor, Low Wood Nature Reserve and much more.
There is a great deal of wildlife, flora and fauna to be found at Low Wood. It is an ideal place to learn about the countryside and work towards conservation based badges. You might see roe deer, blackcap, great spotted woodpecker, tawny owl, treecreeper and nuthatch. Bats also make Low Wood area their home.
